The Muslim Officers Society encourages its members who have kids in high school, to take part of the upcoming test for the Police reserve association scholarship on March 24, 2010 in the Police Academy . Applications are available online @ http://www.nycpra.org/pdf/scholarship10.pdf . MOS will utilize this test for its own Scholarship award in which will be held on May 07, 2010.

2009 Annual Muslim Day Parade

This year, the NYPD Muslim Officers Society will once again participate in the Annual Muslim Day Parade. The parade will be on October 18, 2009, 1200 hrs. The location is on West 41st Street and Madison Avenue. Members are required to wear dress uniform and be presentable.
All Members are urged to show solidarity and attend. Bring your families and friends and have a wonderful time.

The Staff of NYPD Muslim Officers Society would like to give an Eid Mubarak, Kul 'Aam Wa Antum Bakhair to all muslims and members! I hope all members enjoyed this joyous occasion with their loved ones. We would like to also thank everyone who showed up for the Iftaar dinner and to let everyone know that we had a great turnout and a beautiful evening. We hate to see Ramadan go, but we look forward to it again next year, Insha'Allah.
